Morford. Yes. Well.
He's been writing a ...Ah. Morford. Yes. Well.

He's been writing a thrice weekly column at the Chron called "Notes and Errata" for I would guess close to fifteen years now. And there was "The Morning Fix" via e-mule, too...

He observes and comments on current affairs and foibles. He teaches yoga at the Yoga Tree. He appears at lots of events in San Francisco as well, some of them considered a bit... mmmm, edgy.

He's quite the devotee of Eastern thought and mysticism, Shiva, Yoga, and whathaveyou, all tied up in a bundle of naughtiness and humor, insight, and outrage that is a bit too over the top for some... but he's got his own corps of devotees -- cult followers, I'd call them, but what do I know.

When I first encountered his columns all those many years ago, there was literally almost no one else in a daily paper taking the Bush Regime to pieces and scattering the shards -- certainly no one doing it with such glee and fortitude and cheek -- and so many run-on sentences.

But of course he has never limited his barbs and nudges to Those People. He'll cheerfully skewer anyone and everyone. And he does.

I guess he writes for Arianna, too, but I rarely go there, so I wouldn't know for sure.

His Website: http://markmorford.com/

His Bio:
http://markmorford.com/About.html

As it says:
"Mark believes in divine mystery, good lubricant and beautifully designed small European cars. And dogs. And wine. And trees."

If it weren't for "The Morning Fix" back in the long ago, I think I would have gone mad....;-)Ché Pasahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01926630891287949373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2304235862479840318.post-26913847421742533772012-01-12T18:38:45.779-08:002012-01-12T18:38:45.779-08:00Who is this guy?
