I used the story in the "Today's ...teri,

I used the story in the "Today's Propaganda" post yesterday. I thought I had responded to your comment, but it didn't show up... hm. More Blogger Mysteries.

At any rate, in my view, the oppressed usually recount these sorts of things truthfully -- if not always accurately. For example, I've noticed the Afghans, though telling the truth about horrible events, have a real problem with accurate counting. They aren't concentrating on numbers the way we tend to do, so it's sometimes possible to discredit their accounts -- even though they are telling the truth -- because their numbers aren't accurate.

On the other hand, the military that's committing these atrocities ALWAYS lies; this is consistent through every single outrage since the start of hostilities in Afghanistan, as it was in Iraq.

Even when they might finally get around to admitting that, yes, some sort of horror did occur, they will still lie about it.

What I don't get is why our media -- including almost all the "New Media" -- accepts their lies almost without question. The default position wrt military statements, it seems to me, should be "Here's what they say about it. Of course they lie." But no.

Anyway, thanks for the link. It's quite a different story than we've been fed...Ché Pasahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01926630891287949373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2304235862479840318.post-68637236674350684212012-03-16T09:32:06.538-07:002012-03-16T09:32:06.538-07:00Che,

And there are plenty of weasel words being used by the military and the presidencies that leave the door open to "discovering" one day that yes, a whole squad of killers was involved.

One of the reports I heard today claimed that because there were no riots over this yet, perhaps this will all blow over. The two soldiers, Cpl. Jeremy Morlock and Pfc. Andrew Holmes, saw a young farmer who was working by himself among the spiky shoots. Off in the distance, a few other soldiers stood sentry. Let me check.... Ah, here ir is:

The Kill Team: How U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan Murdered Innocent Civilians

Basically, we have a gang of U. S. soldiers murdering random Afghan civilians for fun. It's all documented, gruesome pictures and everything.

I mean I know we've always been at war with EastAsia, but sometimes this whole Memory Hole thing strikes me as a minor Infernal miracle. I mean seriously, are the Men In Black gathering a bunch of Washington Pundits into a room and flashing them with one of those brain erasers?

I mean, why would the Afghans still be mad about "The Kill Team," after all, that was all the war back in 2011!vampyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14660319794133128873noreply@blogger.com
