The Daily Californian has been covering the events at Berkeley very well, but I can sense it is hard for them.
Ever since the enormous tuition increases of a couple of years ago, the Berkeley campus has been in a more or less continuous uproar. The Occupy Movement has just come to the University, and the tumult level has gone through the roof. Last night, for example, delegations from Occupy San Francisco and Occupy Oakland joined the Berkeley students to confront the administration and the police. I particularly like the response to the Vice Chancellor's speech: "Bull. Shit."
It's hard to explain, but for me all this is very difficult to watch.
