Progress in the face of the Modern American Imperium
To tell you the truth, I'm a little tired of them. Wolf had a point, but took it too far. The same blogosphere that brought us "firebaggers" went nuts like a mob in a Hanna Barbera cartoon, a blob with a couple of arms and legs moving.I knew too well than to wade into any comment threads. I hate it when there's yet another game of musical chairs, played with fainting couches.Makes the "professional left" look like the WaPoo op/ed page.
The same blogosphere that brought us "firebaggers" went nuts like a mob in a Hanna Barbera cartoon, a blob with a couple of arms and legs moving."I laughed, I cried, it was better..." oh well, you know the rest. The nuts-i-ness of it all... I have never doubted that there are layers and layers of intergovernmental collaborations in the attacks on the encampments -- it's obvious. The way Wolf put it, of course, just fueled the firestorm. If this were a print medium, there wouldn't be enough ink on hand to crank out all the broadsides that have ensued.Meanwhile, there are some really nasty things going on wrt those who have been arrested. Not just in LA, either. We have only just begun to witness the potentials of the Police State...
